Tennessee Tuesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, the Zoo & Art

It's another busy week at Memphis Made Brewing with four events coming up at the Peabody Hotel Corner Bar, Central BBQ Downtown, the Memphis Zoo and the Young Avenue Deli. Quite a varied list, to be sure.

First, we'll be at the Peabody Hotel Corner Bar 5-7 p.m. Tuesday for their Tennessee Tuesdays. There will be $3 Red Handed Alt during those hours as well as pimento cheese and crackers.

On Thursday, we'll be dropping by Central BBQ's Downtown location for our monthly Thirsty Thursday there. They'll have three styles available (LIghts Out, Reverberation and Bent Note IPA) for $3, plus you get to keep the glass. Word on the street is they'll have some fresh boudin to snack on while you enjoy a few pints.

The next night, we'll be at the Memphis Zoo for the Wild World of Wine and Bad-ass Beer (at least that's what we're calling it). That runs from 7-10 p.m. and features lots of great beers. Tickets are online at www.memphiszoo.org.

We end the week in Cooper-Young for the Art for Art's Sake Auction, held 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Young Avenue Deli. We're have kegs of Bent Note IPA and Red Handed Alt for those bidding on all the great art. Food is being provided by Fork It Over. It's $25 at the door with all proceeds going to the Cooper-Young Community Association.

That's all we've got this week, but I'm sure we'll have more, so stay tuned.

Cheers,

Andy
