It's Finally Fall in Memphis

The calendar people list Sept. 23 as the First Day of Fall, but in Memphis we all know that's not true. People around here sometimes wear shorts when they go trick-or-treating. That's why we've waited to release our fall beers until mid-October. We think they'll be worth the wait.

First up is Fireside, an amber ale brewed with a base of Munich malt and steeped in European hops. This beer, available this week, is malty on the front end with a slight hop finish on the back to provide balance.

In a few more weeks, we'll release Hundo IPA, a previously limited-release beer that is coming back this time for seasonal duty.

This India Pale Ale is brewed with a generous portion of Centennial hops, making it suitable cool weather replacement for RockBone IPA.

While RockBone and Soulful Ginger are going away for the fall and winter, look for them next year. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so they'll taste that much better next year.

In the meantime, we hope these new beers will get you through the colder months here in Memphis.

Cheers,

Andy and Drew
